4th of July in Hot Springs!!

After visiting with Aunt Loretta and our East Texas family, we met Chad, Natalie, and the boys at the lake house in Hot Springs to celebrate the 4th of July. I'm so glad Connor got to spend time with his two cousins from my side of the family, Carter & Cole. Cole really hasn't been around a baby, so he was really into helping with Connor. Connor also went on his first boat ride and swam in Lake Hamilton.

East Texas Family!

Connor and I just got back from our almost 4 week vacation in Texas and Arkansas. He met a lot of family and friends!

Our first stop after flying into Houston was cousin Lisa's house for a family dinner and then to Aunt Loretta's to spend two nights. It was so good seeing them all! I'm glad Connor was able to meet them.

Father's Day gift for Daddy!

Ron asked me for a picture of Connor and Koogle together before Koogle passes. I thought this would make a great first Father's Day gift for him. I had Cherie Shirey with Dashing Life Photography take them. It was a rainy day so these two were the best we got. The Green Bay Packers blanket background wasn't planned, but turned out cute and Ron loves it!

First Camping Trip!

This past weekend we went to Whiskey Gulch (Kenai Peninsula) to clam dig for Connor's cousin Jack Thomas' 5th birthday party. We had a great time! Connor did great on his first camping trip. He got cold the first night we were there, but once we put him in bed with us and he was fine. He loves the outdoors like his Daddy. This was also Junior's first time to see the ocean. While he LOVES the lake, he wasn't a fan of the waves chasing him out of the water! It was obvious he was a bit scared.

3 months old!

I can't believe it's already been 3 months. He is growing up so fast. He's changed so much in the last month. He can now grab toys/rattles and control them to his mouth. He loves to suck on (eat) his hands and fingers. I think there is movement in his gums that is bugging him. He can lift his head all the way up during tummy time. Thank goodness for his My Little Lamb Cradle 'n Swing and Baby Einstein Neptune Ocean Adventure Play Gym. He LOVES them both. He also loves the dogs. He's started laughing at Junior. It's so cute. He really is a good baby...we are blessed!
